Lowcountry Companion is a literary publication dedicated to promoting and protecting the cultural, historical and natural heritage of the SC Lowcountry – areas south of the neon and hustle of Myrtle Beach. Murrells Inlet, Litchfield Beach, Pawleys Island and all of Georgetown County receive extensive coverage. Locals and tourists love the extensive editorial -- including reviews for eco-adventures, historic attractions, retail establishments and restaurants, as well as a comprehensive calendar of events.

The co-publishers of Lowcountry Companion love this area and seek to promote and protect the area’s countless charms. They strive to produce a publication that is interesting and informative, not just another collection of pretty advertising (there’s that too, though!).
