Lowcountry Scoop
Clients Sing Spa’s Story
Word of mouth is extremely effective marketing.
Good or bad, what clients say about
a business will most certainly impact longterm
success. Lisa Clark, owner of Angsana
– Boutique Day Spa confirmed this fact first
hand.
“Since I opened Angsana three years ago, I
have always paid attention to what my clients
were telling me,” explains Lisa. “I set up a
database to keep track of client requests and
preferences, and I offer clients several ways to
let us know how they feel about the service
they’ve received.”
With continuous focus on customer preferences,
Lisa and her team have refined offerings
and expanded their service portfolio to
accommodate the newest trends, as well as
specific needs. Here are a few client testimonials.
• “Impressive array of services.”

class and a smile.”

Three Sisters Details
Fashion and bling. Fashion Bling. Call it what
you will but know you’ll find shelves and
shelves in this stylish shop located in the
Hammock Shops. Peggy runs the shop. Her
sisters, Linda and Beth, travel in, out and
around the country to hand-select beautiful
jewelry. Ask about their adventures!
Details’ specialty is sterling but there’s more,
much more. Freshwater pearls, handmade
glass, colorful beads and metals; the list is long
and styles are abundant. There are trendy,
chunky, colorful pieces, “bib” necklaces,
bangle bracelets, dangly ear gear, elegant
pearl pieces. Long, short, classic and funky
– there’s something for everyone. The well organized
store showcases over a hundred
unique necklace and earrings sets. Counter
cases are full of individual pieces, too. All are
tempting, and wonderfully affordable! On a
recent visit, there was a entire table of great looking
watches for $10!
Details also stocks sterling silver keepsake
items and acrylic giftware. Especially ideal
for celebrating newborns, birthdays, and
weddings, these items can be personalized
with on-site engraving.
Although Details’ focus is jewelry, there’s
much more to discover. Bridge aficionados
will love the Caspari bridge cards. There is
personalized stationery, address stamps
and custom embossers, scarves, children’s
accessories and more. Honestly, this boutique
is worth exploration. Give Peggy a visit, and
tell her we recommended the visit. You’ll be
glad you did, guaranteed.
Pawleys Plantation
One of SC’s Top 50 Courses
Pawleys Plantation, a Jack Nicklaus signature
course, was recently named one of the top
ten courses in Myrtle Beach by the prestigious
SC Golf Course Ratings Panel. The panel also
rated Pawleys Plantation among “SC’s Top
Fifty Golf Courses.”
“We are thrilled to not only be considered
one of the top courses in SC, but also one of
the top ten in the Grand Strand area,” said Jann Walker, director of marketing at Pawleys
Plantation. “There are over 350 golf courses
in the state of SC, so these honors are very
special to us. It is truly a testament to the
wonderful design of our Jack Nicklaus golf
course, as well as a compliment to our hard
working staff.”
The SC Golf Course Ratings Panel consists
of 128 avid golfers from throughout the
state including golf writers, professional
golfers, collegiate golf coaches, golf course
superintendents and business executives. In
contrast to some other ratings panels, the SC
panel members are required to actually play a
course before they can vote on it. That means
their rankings are based on criteria – routing,
conditioning, memorability and aesthetics –
that can only be understood by experiencing
a golf course.
