Pawleys Island Music Festival

This year is just one shy of thirty for the Pawleys Island Festival of Music & Art! Founder Dr. Lee Minton envisioned bringing exemplary performances to the Lowcountry, thereby providing cultural inspiration to local youth. Three decades later, performers visit local schools annually. They interact with the students, demonstrate their craft, teach them, encourage them, and then invite them to perform on the festival stage. It’s a first- time experience for many and memorable by every standard.

The festival, scheduled for October 3 - 19 at The Reserve Golf Club of Pawleys Island, has become one of the East Coast’s most beloved music and art events. Year after year, thousands of visitors and savvy locals, relish the opportunity to enjoy nationally acclaimed artists and be a part of the art that’s sweeping the South.

The Pawleys Island Wine & Food Gala kicks off the festival followed by an impressive line-up of performances by Blood Sweat & Tears, Pablo Cruise, Decades Rewind, & Carpenters Remembered. Be sure and bring the entire family to Next Generation Leahy. From Irish Dancing to incredible vocalists and musicians, this family of ten will not disappoint.

Follow the journey of Billy Joel with his first band, Lords of 52nd Street. And if you love American Songbook standards, then the three vocalists of Shades of Bublé will delight you with their extraordinary voices. Invite your friends for the tabled event and finale dancing and shagging the night away to the classic sounds of Soul Town.
